The Kuwait Fund for Development hosted a delegation of 52 officers from the Defense Academy of the United Kingdom at its headquarters yesterday. The officers received a detailed presentation and lecture outlining the Fund's mission, its diverse activities, and its extensive developmental impact in 105 countries worldwide

Mr. Ayad Al-Gharaballi, Deputy Director of Operations for Central, East, and South African Countries at the Kuwait Fund, delivered an insightful overview of the Kuwait Fund's inception, its operational evolution, and its broad spectrum of developmental initiatives.

Subsequently, Dr. Hani Al-Ghawas, Engineering Advisor at the Kuwait Fund, elaborated on the expansion of the Fund's operations in response to global changes and challenges. He detailed the Fund's proactive role in achieving sustainable development goals, particularly through its involvement in infrastructure and social projects that are crucial for the development strategies of the nations it supports.

Colonel Firas Al-Obaid, the head of the delegation from the Mubarak Al-Abdullah Joint Command and Staff College, emphasized that this visit falls within the framework of ongoing cooperation between the Kuwait Fund and the college. He noted that this is the inaugural stop of the British delegation's tour and serves as a crucial introduction to Kuwait's extensive economic contributions on both regional and global stages, highlighting the significant impact of the Fund's projects on the development and humanitarian aid sectors in the countries they assist.
