Water Main Project Tonight on Fourth Street in the City of Sunbury, Northumberland County

Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised that a portion of Fourth Street (Route 4004) will be closed this evening in the City of Sunbury, Northumberland County, for a water main project.

On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM, Fourth Street will be closed between App / North Street and Jefferson Street, while the Sunbury Water Authority performs maintenance on a water main. A detour using Packer Street, Front Street (Route 405), and Shikellamy Avenue (Route 4008), will be in place.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
