Appeal to locate man wanted on outstanding warrant - Police Transport Command

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a wanted man from Sydney CBD.

George Hammon-Nia, aged 36, is wanted on an outstanding warrant in relation to affray and escaping lawful arrest at Town Hall railway station following an incident on Saturday (18 May 2024).

Officers attached to Police Transport Command North Central have commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

He was last seen at Hurstville Railway Station on Monday (20 May 2024).

He is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 180cm - 185cm tall, medium build with black hair, brown eyes and tattoos on his left forearm.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper, black pants and camel-coloured shoes.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged not to approach him but to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
