The sides met in Riyadh last week when Mohsine Moutouali gave the Qatari team an early lead before Abdullah Al Zori restored parity after the interval as a 1-1 draw left things extremely congested in Group D.
Runners-up last year, Al Hilal have endured a difficult start in the 2018 campaign, drawing two of their opening three games with a loss to Esteghlal sandwiched in between as Saudi side currently sit bottom of the standings.
Despite the poor start, Al Hilal remain just three points off the top of the table and a win would move them two points above Al Rayyan and possibly into the top two qualification spots with two games remaining.
Goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi is available for Al Hilal after serving a one-match suspension, but striker Sebastian Soria misses out after picking up his second booking of the group stage during the match in Riyadh.
