Route 142 in Butler County Reduced for Roadside Work…

SIKESTON ― Route 142 in Butler County will be reducedascontractor crews remove and replace islands at various intersections. As work is underway, eastbound and westbound Route 142 will be reduced to one lane in each direction in the vicinity of the intersection.

This section of roadway is located near the intersection of Route 142 and Route 67 near Neelyville, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place from Monday, May 20 through Friday, May 24 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The work zone will be marked with signs.  Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
