The Peninsula New York Warmly Welcomes Festive-Season Guests To Gather Together At Their 'Holiday Home'
The Peninsula Hotels has been known as a joyfully welcoming second home during the holidays for generations. At this special time of year, travelers from around the world converge at the legendary hotels to take part in their array of celebratory feasts, performances, activities, and opportunities to create extraordinary memories together.
This year, the festive experiences offered at The Peninsula Hotels will center around traditional holiday pleasures: Lighting the beautifully decorated Lobby Christmas tree; gathering around it to enjoy enchanting music; and savoring lavish meals and delightful activities among family and loved ones. This first season, The Peninsula New York is thrilled to announce a collaboration with New York City's iconic toy store, FAO Schwarz, with a magical stay package - perfect for families looking to create unforgettable holiday memories. In keeping with both the holiday spirit and time-honored Peninsula custom, the hotel will also give guests the chance to contribute to a special charity organization.
Sharing the Spirit of the Season
For decades, The Peninsula Hotels has made special efforts during the festive season to support the less-fortunate members of its community. This year, The Peninsula New York will donate US$10 for each Festive Afternoon Tea during the festive season. This year, The Peninsula New York has once again chosen The New York Center for Children (NYCC). NYCC is the only independent center in New York City to provide comprehensive evaluation and therapy services to child victims of physical and sexual abuse and their families, free of charge, for as long as their healing requires. Dedicated to serving children for 28 years, the center has served more than 15,000 children and their families in the surrounding areas.
Celebrate the Holiday Season with The Peninsula New York
To kick off the holiday season in style, on Thursday, November 30, The Peninsula New York invites you to a special Tree Lighting at Salon de Ning rooftop bar and terrace. Enjoy complimentary drinks and light bites from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, along with a special performance by Victorian carolers. Following the Tree Lighting, stay and sip on holiday drinks while taking in the lights of Fifth Avenue. Fifty percent of the night's proceeds will be donated to The New York Center for Children.
Visitors will also be able to stop by the lobby every Friday and Saturday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm from November 24 until December 23, 2023 to enjoy holiday music sung by Victorian carolers.
Guests young and old can visit The Peninsula Sweet Shoppe, where they can mix and match a bag of sweet treats with surprise visits from the Pen Bear. Open daily from November 24 to December 31, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
