From July 29, 2023, to August 1, 2023, ZHANG Xingliao, President of CYPC, and his delegation, visited Luz del Sur S.A.A. (LDS) in Peru.

ZHANG Xingliao listened to the work reports respectively from the management team of CYPI in Peru and LDS, concerning power transmission and distribution, finance, legal affairs, and business. He also conducted on-site inspections of production and operation areas such as the Chacarilla Control Center, Balnearios Substation, LDS Branch, Tecsur S.A., and Los Andes Servicios Corporativos S.A.C., all affiliated to LDS.

ZHANG Xingliao gave full recognition to the achievements made by the management team ofCYPI in Peru and LDS, and arranged work of the next stage.He emphasized the importance of continuously promoting management level, optimizing management mode, improving business performance to create wealth for shareholders and Peru. He added that we should regard development as the priority, and continue to focus on investments, and mergers and acquisitions in hydropower and new energy projects, as well as the greenfield development to steadily tap into the Peruvian market. He also underlined a continuous enhancement of the quality of customer service, especially with digitalized methods such as artificial intelligence, and improvement of the work safety management system to achieve a dynamic balance between efficient and safe production. At last, he called everyone to strengthen the mutual exchange and learning of Sino-Peruvian cultures and corporate cultures, so as to jointly promote integrated development.
