Le pilote décolle en remorqué en piste 33 non-revêtue en conditions turbulentes. Alors que l'attelage est en étape vent traversier en montée vers la zone de largage, il rencontre des turbulences, le câble se détend et se libère de son point d'accrochage sur le planeur. Le pilote du planeur revient atterrir à contre-QFU avec du vent arrière en réalisant une PTU main-droite. Il atterrit durement en amont de la piste 15 non-revêtue.
