Yolo County Employers Invited to ChatGPT Training Webinar on April 30

PRESS RELEASE

Yolo County employers are invited to a free training opportunity to learn about ChatGPT and its potential benefits for their businesses at the webinar "What is ChatGPT," scheduled for April 30, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. This event is a collaborative effort between YoloWorks!, the Yolo County Workforce Innovation Board, and the Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency, who have partnered with the California Employers Association to provide valuable trainings to local businesses.

ChatGPT and similar Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) technology have the potential to revolutionize the workplace by automating routine tasks, streaming processes, and enhancing creativity. Soon, A.I. may even handle some complex tasks better and more efficiently than humans do now.

Yolo County employers can register online at http://tinyurl.com/YC43024 or by visiting www.YoloWorks.org. For further inquiries, employers can reach out to Erica Johnson, Workforce Board Director, at [email protected], or by calling/texting (530) 631-2289. The training session, which qualifies for 1HCRI or 1SHRM credit, will cover the following topics:

  • ChatGPT: Impact on the Workplace
  • Use Cases in Human Resources
  • Potential Challenges & Limitations
  • Developing an AI Policy
  • The Dark Side: Plagiarism, Ethics, Accuracy

Additionally, a dedicated Human Resources Hotline is available to local employers, providing support in maintaining compliance, offering exceptional human resource compliance solutions, training, and recruitment services. Employers can access unlimited phone support from Human Resources experts, along with a variety of online resources. This Hotline operates in English and Spanish from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and can be reached at 1-888-900-7791.
