Washington, D.C. - Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) today welcomed more than 100 Northern Colorado veterans from the High Plains Honor Flight to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. The High Plains Honor Flight included veterans who served in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War who are visiting the war memorials in Washington, D.C. Today's visit marked the inaugural High Plains Honor Flight after ten years of 'Honor Flight Northern Colorado,' which concluded last year.

'It was an incredible honor to meet with veterans and families from Northern Colorado and continue the honor flighttradition,' said Senator Gardner. 'Our commitment to our men and women in uniform goes beyond active service, and I will always support our men and women in uniform who fought for the freedoms we enjoy today.'
