Concerts, live theatre and fireworks are planned for the third annual Independence Day celebration at The RiverFront.

Five days of family-friendly events are planned to celebrate the 4^th of July, made possible by The RiverFront's partnership with the Omaha Symphony and the UNO Theatre Summer Musical Theatre Academy.

Omaha native and internationally known musician Billy McGuigan will join the Omaha Symphony in the Gene Leahy Mall Performance Pavilion on July 5 for a one-night only rock and roll event.

The UNO Musical Theatre Academy will perform Legally Blonde: The Musicalon July 8, featuring performers from Omaha-area high schools, supported by the University of Nebraska at Omaha Theatre Department.
