CPE is bringing Fine Arts youth to campus summer 2024

Continuing & Professional Education is hosting multiple fine arts camps this summer and inviting interested teens in the area to attend. These programs will be run by professionals with industry experience and Georgia College & State University students studying in the field.

Makin' Music Camp

  • June 24-28, 2024
  • Ages 13+
  • Open to musicians of all levels ages 13+, this program will give campers the opportunity to express themselves through songwriting. Throughout the week, campers will work with music therapy staff and students to learn basic songwriting techniques how to use professional audio equipment and programs. They will have the chance to create and produce a song to showcase at the end of camp.

Teen Theatre Camp

  • Session I: July 8-12, 2024
  • Session II: July 15-19, 2024
  • Ages 13+
  • Calling all teen theatre students ages 13+. Join the GCSU Theatre Department this summer for a five-day professionally curated workshop that focuses on individualized training in acting, staging and theatre production. Participants will learn and work closely alongside a trained instructor and will perform in a show at the end of the week.
