The Spanish language psychological horror thriller is written and directed by Martín Mauregui, who's directing his first feature after a successful career as screenwriter with directors such as Trapero, Mitre or most recently as dialogue writer in J.A Bayona's Oscar nominated Society Of The Snow. Starring Palme D'or, Goya and Cesar winning Carmen Maura (Almodovar's Women on the verge of a nervous breakdown, Volver; Carlos Saura's Ay Carmela and Alex de La Iglesia's La Comunidad) and Berlinale Silver Bear winner Daniel Hendler, who has worked with Daniel Burman, Santiago Mitre, Paula Hernandez and Federico Veiroj, currently starring in the Netflix hit series Division Palermo. »

CRAZY OLD LADY (VIEJA LOCA), a Spanish-Argentinian coproduction is currently shooting in Buenos Aires and is produced by J.A. Bayona and Belen Atienza (Pan's Labyrinth, The Orphanage, The Impossible, A Monster Calls, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom). Bayona also takes a "presents" credit on the feature. Also producing is Gabriela Cárcova Krichmar for PRIMO CONTENT, Ramón Campos for BAMBU PRODUCCIONES and Agustina Llambi Campbell for LA UNIÓN DE LOS RÍOS (Santiago Mitre's Oscar nominated Argentina, 1985). Nicolás Pérez Veiga and Alfredo Pérez Veiga, executive produce. Ron Halpern and Leeana Lancashire oversee for STUDIOCANAL.
