Memorandum of Cooperation Signed Between the National Bank of Georgia and GNERC

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the National Bank of Georgia and the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC). The agreement was signed by David Narmania, Chairman of GNERC, and Natia Turnava, Acting Governor and first Vice Governor of the National Bank of Georgia.

The memorandum aims to facilitate the exchange of statistical and other relevant information in the financial sector, provide mutual consultations, and collaborate on joint projects to enhance the quality of tariff regulation in the fields of electricity, natural gas, and water supply. This collaboration is expected to contribute significantly to the improvement of regulatory practices and the overall development of these vital sectors.
