Young professionals successfully complete vocational training at SGL's Meitingen site

Seven young professionals completed their vocational training at SGL Carbon in Meitingen from mid-January to the beginning of February 2023 with an overall grade point average of 2.0. At the traditional graduation ceremony, site manager Alexander Miehling, HR manager Angelika Lippert and the trainers congratulated the young professionals on their excellent results. Uwe Moderer, Head of Training, praised the young graduates for their outstanding achievements and offered his congratulations as a representative of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). The works council, represented by Birgit Burkert and Tanja Priegelmeir, also joined in the congratulations.

The young skilled workers were trained as industrial mechanics, cutting machine operators, electronics technicians and chemical laboratory technicians.

Nina Lechelmair (chemical laboratory technician) deserves special recognition for her outstanding overall examination result with the top grade of "very good". Four other graduates also achieved a great result in their practical examination with the grade "very good".
