Supporting the Progress of Volleyball Sports in Tanjung Niur Village, PT Timah Tbk Hands Over Sports Facilities and Infrastructure

WEST BANGKA -- To support community sports activities, PT Timah Tbk again handed over sports facilities and infrastructure assistance to the community in the company's operational areas.

This time, PT Timah Tbk handed over assistance for volleyball sports facilities and infrastructure to a youth group in Tanjung Niur Village, Tempilang District, West Bangka Regency.

This assistance was handed over by PT Timah Tbk's CSR Team to Sports Leaders as well as the Tanjung Niur Village Administrative Headquarters Office, Sidik Abdullah at the Tanjung Niur Volleyball Field, Tuesday (24/1/2023).

Youth representatives and volleyball athletes from Tanjung Niur Topan Village said PT Timah's assistance would be used for sports facilities and infrastructure to support community sports activities.

"PT Timah's assistance will buy nets, volleyball balls, and team costumes. The Tanjung Niur Volleyball Team plans to take part in a tournament in Tempilang sub-district and a tournament in Pemempak village," he said.

Meanwhile, Tanjung Niur Sidik Abdullah, Head of the Administrative Office of Pemdes, hopes that with assistance from PT Timah Tbk, the sport of volleyball in Tanjung Niur will develop.

"With PT Timah's assistance for volleyball facilities and infrastructure, we hope that this sport will develop further. Because volleyball is in great demand. We are grateful to PT Timah Tbk for supporting volleyball," he said.
