Public Notice: Town of Davie Lane Closure Along Hiatus Road

From April 22 to May 10, 2024

DAVIE, Fla. - The Town of Davie's Public Works and Capital Projects Department will close one lane of traffic at the west side of the roundabout at Hiatus Road and SW 26th Street (Location 1), and along Hiatus Road just north of SW 26th Street (Location 2).

The lane closure will start on Monday, April 22, at Location 1, and Location 2 will commence once Location 1 is completed. Both locations are expected to conclude on or before Friday, May 10, 2024. The closures will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and all lanes will reopen at night.

One lane of traffic will be maintained open at all times with flag persons directing traffic as needed. Traffic delays are expected while the work is being performed.

The lane closures are necessary to complete the installation of two outfall drainage pipes under the roadway. The improvements are required as part of the Little Country Estates and Grove Estates neighborhood drainage improvement project.

Commuters are advised to anticipate delays or seek alternative routes. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as the Town completes the project improvements.
