City Board & Commission Vacancies

Individuals who volunteer for advisory boards and commissions are a large portion of the support system for our local City government.

City boards and commissions serve a critical role in the development of public policy and policy implementation by advising the City Council. Their decisions are critical in modeling our community by acting as the voice of our citizens.

Membership on each board or commission requires varying qualifications. Most of the members must be residents of the City of Soldotna. Service on an advisory board or commission is an excellent way for citizens to become involved in the operation of local government and to contribute to the quality of life in the City of Soldotna.
