Blooming Fest Street Closures Begin May 17 at 10 a.m.

The City of West Chicago will host its annual Blooming Fest on Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors travelling to the downtown for the event should take note of the following street closures that will be in effect, including:

• Galena Street between Main Street and Tye Court, which will be closed beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 17 through 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 18; and
• Main Street from Chicago Street to W. Washington Street, which will be closed beginning at 5 a.m. through 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 18.

In addition to these closures, Turner Court's one-way access will be reversed, and will only be accessible to people with residences in the area from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 18.
