Virtusa Achieves AWS Healthcare Competency Status

SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. - October 19, 2021 -Virtusa Corporation, a global provider of digital strategy, digital engineering, and information technology (IT) services and solutions announced today that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Healthcare Consulting Competency status.

TheAWS Healthcare Consulting Competency status recognizes Virtusa's expertise and work with AWS to provide cloud offerings that help healthcare organizations accelerate digital transformation. Through these offerings, healthcare companies can maximize innovation, minimize costs, and provide value-based care.

Virtusa leveraged the client's Operational Data Store (ODS) platform, built on Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), and Amazon Aurora to ingest data into an Amazon Redshift data warehouse using PySpark ETL. Today, the new solution has accelerated the client's E&B data warehouse delivery to help track enrollments and premium collections and is now able to process full loads for 12 dimensions and seven facts with the peak processing of 16 million records.

AWS established the AWS Competency Program to help customers identify AWS Partner Network (APN) partners with deep industry experience and expertise in technology and consulting.
