Hasmik Hakobyan meets with students of YSU Faculty of International Relations

The deputy of the NA Civil Contract Faction Hasmik Hakobyan talked about the representation of women and men in Parliament and the importance of gender equality in other fields during the meeting held on April 9 with the students of YSU Faculty of International Relations.

The meeting took place in a Q&A session, during which reference was made to Armenian-Russian relations, cooperation in the EEU economic and the CSTO security issues.

The MP spoke about the EU cooperation and noted that the quality of Armenian products should be brought up to the standards of European products, which will make it possible to export them to the EU member states.

Hasmik Hakobyan answered the student's question about how to fight against false information. "It is necessary to understand why false information is increasing. They are out-of-control news platforms: Telegram, social platforms, which are not considered media, but bloggers have a larger audience." The deputy also detailed the working procedure of the accredited journalists in the Parliament.

During the meeting, the delimitation and demarcation process was also discussed.
