BCPP weakens for 2nd time in row, mainly driven down by KB shares

Prague, Feb 20 (CTK) - The Prague Stock Exchange (BCPP) today weakened for the second consecutive day, as the PX index fell by a slight 0.12 percent to 1,479.21 points and was dragged down mainly by shares of Czech bank Komercni banka (KB) and Austria's Erste Bank, the BCPP said on its website.

The total trading volume on the Prague market reached almost Kc391m.

The most traded were KB's shares, going down by 1.07 percent to Kc831 apiece.

Erste Bank's shares depreciated by 0.6 percent to Kc986.

Moneta Money Bank, on the other hand, improved by 0.39 percent to Kc102.20 per share.

Shares of energy group CEZ appreciated by 0.98 percent to Kc826.50.

Arms maker Colt CZ also posted gains, adding 0.66 percent to Kc614 per unit.

Beverage maker Kofola gained 0.74 percent to Kc273 and pharmacy chain Pilulka rose by 1.75 percent to Kc232 per share.
