Steven Bonk Acclaimed as 2024 Saskatchewan Party Candidate for Moosomin-Montmartre

WOLSELEY, Saskatchewan - Steven Bonk has been acclaimed as the Saskatchewan Party's nominated candidate for Moosomin-Montmartre in the 2024 provincial election.

"I'd like to thank all of the local Saskatchewan Party members for supporting me, and most importantly I want to thank everyone in Moosomin-Montmartre," Bonk said. "Saskatchewan is seeing incredible growth, and we have a bright future ahead of us."

Bonk was elected as MLA for Moosomin on April 4, 2016. He was re-elected in 2020. Bonk has served Saskatchewan as Minister of the Economy and Minister responsible for Tourism Saskatchewan, Innovation and Trade. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee on Crowns and Central Agencies.

Bonk has worked on four continents as a consultant in agricultural management and policy development. He has served as a member of the Wolseley Community School Council, Glenavon Agriculture Society, the Southeast Saskatchewan Social Services Appeal Board, as well as on the international committees of both the Canadian Western Agribition and Canada's Farm Progress Show.

Bonk, his wife Candace, and their daughter, Emma, are the fifth generation of his family to reside in the Moosomin-Montmartre constituency.

With Bonk's nomination, the Saskatchewan Party has nominated 10 candidates for the 2024 provincial election.
