Winter Basketball Information
The City of League City Parks & Recreation Department's Youth Basketball Program will begin December 5 and run through February 25, 2023. This program will be for youth ages 5-14. The season will consist of one (1) weekly practice, seven (7) regular season games on Saturdays and/or Sunday afternoons plus participation in a single-elimination post season city tournament.

EVALUATIONS: All evaluations will be held at Hometown Heroes Park. In Division III basketball 8U and older, all PLAYERS MUST BE EVALUATED TO BE DRAFTED. Players who do not attend evaluations will be assigned to teams through a blind draft. NO EXCEPTIONS. All registrants will be placed on a team.

  • Ages 5-14
  • Aging Date: 9/1/2022
  • Cost: $95.00 for residents | $142.50 for non-residents.
  • Practices: Once a week beginning week of December 5
  • Games: Saturdays & possibly Sundays, Starting on January 7-8, 2023
  • Registration Dates: October 5 for residents | October 19 for non-residents.

Creating an Account (Household)

Household accounts can now be created online. To create an account, visit: Online Parks and Rec Registration and click on new account and fill in the required fields. Please make sure to add everyone living in your household, including children. After setting up your household account, League City residents must email a copy of their water bill to Brooke Holliday at [email protected]. to verify residency and have their account approved. Households must be approved before any registration can occur. Accounts can take up to 72 hours to be approved.

Accounts can also be created in person at Hometown Heroes Park. League City residents will need to bring in a valid ID and their League City water bill. Non-residents will need to bring in a valid ID.
