Hamilton County Virtual Open House Extended For Mill Creek Expressway Maintenance of Traffic Plan 08 16 23

Lebanon, Ohio (Wednesday, August 16, 2023) - An online open house addressing the maintenance of traffic plan for Phase 8 of the Mill Creek Expressway of projects has been extended, and the Ohio Department of Transportation is seeking your input!

Phase 8 of the Mill Creek Expressway includes widening and pavement replacement on I-75 between S.R. 562 (Norwood Lateral) and S.R. 126 (Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway), replacing existing bridges, reconstructing the S.R. 562/Norwood Lateral interchange, removing the Towne Street interchange, and improving the Paddock Road interchange.

Phase 8 was originally programmed to be sold in the summer of 2022 and constructed as a single project, but due to cost overruns it is now being sold as three, separate projects and a tree clearing contract. In order to gather input about the maintenance of traffic plan during construction, ODOT has opened a public input site to address the traffic impacts and challenges associated with construction.

To learn more about the project and provide input, visit the virtual Open House online at Maintenance of Traffic for Mill Creek Expressway: Phase 8 (HAM IR 75 7.85, PID 77889) - PublicInput. The site will remain open for comment through Friday, September 15, and the public is encouraged to visit as often as they wish.

The information presented in this virtual public open house, along with public input, will determine how to move forward with maintenance of traffic for the improvements to I-75.
