Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on Maritime Program Budgets and Ocean Shipping Reform Act Implementation

Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee Chairman Daniel Webster (R-FL) announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing focused on the fiscal year 2024 budget request for federal maritime transportation programs, and on implementation of the Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 2022, which was enacted into law on June 16, 2022. This will be the first Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee hearing of the 118th Congress.

The hearing, entitled, "Review of Fiscal Year 2024 Budget Request for Federal Maritime Transportation Programs, and Implementation of the Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 2022," will be held at 2:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 23, 2023, in 2253 Rayburn House Office Building.
