Parcel machines installed in Vaduz and Balzers

18 April 2023

Liechtensteinische Post AG has installed a parcel machine in both Vaduz and Balzers. The machines allow parcels to be picked up and returns to be processed irrespective of post office opening hours. At the beginning of 2022, Liechtensteinische Post commissioned the first parcel machines of this kind at four locations.

Liechtensteinische Post has installed new parcel machines in the parking lot on Äulestrasse opposite the art museum in Vaduz as well as in the parking lot of the Roxy supermarket in Balzers. From now on, parcels that could not be delivered will be left in these machines, as Liechtensteinische Post AG explains in the press release. Recipients can then pick up their parcel at any time, regardless of post office opening hours. The two new machines are currently being kitted out in the Liechtensteinische Post brand image.

With the help of the new parcel machines, parcels can not only be picked up, but also sent within Liechtenstein or to Switzerland. The postage for shipments can be paid via credit or debit card on the machine terminal. In the same way, registered letters can also be sent to addresses across either of the two countries, while mail order returns can be processed as well. Liechtensteinische Post previously installed automatic parcel machines of this kind in Schaan, Gamprin-Bendern, Triesenberg and Triesen at the beginning of last year.
