Junction by-election result

James Potts has been elected as a councillor for Junction ward, following a by-election on Thursday, 28 November.

The number of votes cast for the seven candidates was as-follows:

  • Jackson Caines - 550
  • Rebecca Jones - Liberal Democrats - 156
  • Bill Martin - The Socialist Party of Great Britain - 22
  • Devon Osborne - Green Party - 219
  • Brian Potter - Independent - 97
  • James Potts - Labour Party - 785
  • John Wilkin - Conservative Party - 113

There were 4 rejected ballots. There was a total turnout of 21.33 per cent, with 1946 votes cast.
