Helping the underprivileged by upcycling e-waste through Men's Shed

Civmec recently donated old computers and other tech to the Wanneroo Community Men's Shed.

This not-for-profit organisation advances the health and wellbeing of men by encouraging mateship and belonging. Men's Shed members come to share skills, conversation and create for the community.

Our donated computers will firstly be refurbished by the Shed's members, then distributed to underprivileged members of our society where they will provide their new owners with access to technology and the opportunity to learn new skills.

Men's shed Wanneroo have refurbished over 5,000 laptops from various donators, and we are proud to assist this worthy cause.
