Clock Ticking for Nicole Malliotakis’ Time in Congress

Nicole Malliotakis' time in Congress is ticking down, and for her constituents in New York's Eleventh District, the end of her term can't come soon enough.

Since taking office in January, Malliotakis has disappointed at every turn, voting against critical legislation to support New York's economic recovery and spending more time on intra-party squabbles than working to serve communities in NY-11.

Less than one year in, Malliotakis has:

  • Voted against the American Rescue Plan which delivered critical help for New York families, workers, and small businesses, including an expanded child tax cut - then shamelessly promoted those same ARP benefits she opposed

  • Voted against Build Back Better, which is set to make healthcare more affordable, extends the child tax cut, raises the SALT cap, brings down costs for families, and represents the largest effort to combat climate change in American history

  • Stood against union workers by opposing the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act, which empowers workers and expands labor rights

  • Voted against the Women's Health Protection Act to codify Roe v Wade, despite the vast majority of New Yorkers supporting reproductive rights

DCCC Spokesperson Abel Iraola

"In less than one year since taking office, Nicole Malliotakis has found countless ways to fail her own constituents. She's voted against help for families, workers and small businesses, against labor rights, and against protecting reproductive rights. Voters on Staten Island and South Brooklyn can't count on Nicole Malliotakis to deliver for them, and the end of her term can't come soon enough."
