IME Customers Purchased Steel Blooms

On Monday, April 22, 2024, the IME witnessed trade of 118,205 tonnes of steel blooms and 750 tonnes of CRC on its metals and minerals trading floor.

According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the IME sold on oil and petrochemical trading floor 780 tonnes of base oil, 126 tonnes of bitumen, 108 tonnes of polymeric products, 50 tonnes of granular sulfur and 23 tonnes of paraffin wax.

There were also 184,512 tonnes of cement sold on its cement trading floor.

Based on this report, IME's open auction trading floor saw trade of 11,000 tonnes of steel slabs and 506 tonnes of PVC.

It's worth noting that the export ring played host to trade of 33,700 tonnes of bitumen and 13,000 tonnes of granular sulfur.

Last but not least was the IME's side market with 1,200 tonnes of steel blooms, 100 tonnes of heavy oil and 45 tonnes of steel scraps traded on it.
