The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) Chief People and Culture Officer Lisa Jammer has been named one of Government Technology's class of 2024 Doers, Dreamers, and Drivers.

Every year, Government Technology honors 25 public sector professionals from around the country across all levels of government for their contributions to public service and technology. Jammer joined DIR in 2018 as the Human Resources Director and now oversees the vision, strategy, development, and execution of DIR's talent and culture management programs to advance the agency's mission, vision, and core value statements. This publication recognizes Jammer's enthusiasm and success in attracting, training, and retaining public sector IT workers, and for cultivating a positive workplace environment at DIR.

"I'm deeply honored to be included in Government Technology's Top 25 Doers, Dreamers, and Drivers for 2024! I am thankful to DIR's Executive Director and State Chief Information Officer Amanda Crawford and to DIR for the opportunities they have provided me with over the last six years," Jammer said.  "DIR is dedicated to transforming Texas government through technology. Any accomplishment that I receive is due to everyone at this agency, and it's because culture is a team sport."

Crawford, who made the list in 2023, applauded Government Technology for including DIR employees on the list two years in a row.

"While DIR is a technology agency, we're powered by people. Since she joined the agency in 2018, Lisa has played a vital part of ensuring that we're investing in our people," said Crawford. "I am very proud of the agency culture she helps us foster every day, and thrilled that she is being recognized in such a prestigious manner."

Government Technology, a division of e.Republic, LLC, is part of a family of magazines that covers the role of IT in state and local government.
