Abu Dhabi, 01 September 2024- Day two of ADIHEX has concluded at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi after another engrossing day of shows, exhibits and learning sessions for thousands of visitors.

Take placing under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers' Club, the 21st edition of the globally renowned exhibition is being organised by ADNEC Group in strategic partnership with the Emirates Falconers' Club at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.

ADIHEX's second day provided another packed agenda of memorable exhibits and shows tailored for visitors of all ages, with dramatic displays along with curated exhibits, the latest wildlife and outdoor products, and an unforgettable blend of wildlife presentations, cultural immersion and informative sessions that highlighted the UAE's rich culture and heritage.

The second Falcon Auction took place in the evening with a global profile of top international breeders again displaying the highest quality falcons for the benefit of a global audience of enthusiasts. The live auction at the sumptuous ADIHEX Main Arena was also attended by online falconry devotees worldwide to witness auctions from some of the finest examples or a range of species including Gyr-Saker and Peregrine falcons. Two further exclusive sessions of this magnificent event will be held on Friday 6 September and Saturday 7th September.

In the Main Arena, the "Mamluk Ottoman Show" provided a lavish cultural event that celebrated the rich heritage and historical splendour of the Ottoman Empire. This spectacular and immersive show featured a vibrant array of performances, demonstrations, and displays that highlighted the art, music, dance, and traditions of the Ottoman historical era. By showcasing the grandeur and cultural achievements of the Ottomans while also offering an educational and entertaining experience, this memorable display transported an engrossed audience to a bygone era.

The Arena also featured the "Arabian Saluki Beauty Show", a specialized and prestigious gathering that celebrated the elegance, heritage, and unique characteristics of the Saluki, one of the world's oldest and most revered dog breeds. Often referred to as the "Royal Dog of Arabia", this distinguished event highlighted the beauty, grace, and cultural significance of the Arabian Saluki. With Saluki owners, breeders, enthusiasts, and cultural historians from around the region and beyond present, the vibrant display honoured the ancient breed's contributions to Arabian culture and history in the presence of an exclusive and appreciative audience.

Taking place in front of a delighted audience of adults and children, the Fun Dog Show provided a light-hearted, inclusive platform designed to celebrate dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds in a lively and friendly atmosphere. Celebrating the unique personalities and quirks of every dog, the show encourage. participation from all dog owners, regardless of their dog's pedigree. Entertaining competitions and activities also highlighted the joy that dogs bring to our lives.

Amid a packed programme of entertainment, the exhibition also provided a broad range of educational sessions aimed at ADIHEX's younger visitors. At the Abu Dhabi Police Youth Majlis, a "Weaponry Permit Workshop" was led by Colonel Salem Ghareeb Al Ketbi that outlined the critically important regulations governing the use of weapons in the UAE, while the "Abu Dhabi Civil Defence: First Aid Workshop" featuring Colonel Mohamed Ibrahim Alansari provided valuable information on aspects of emergency response for its young audience.

The "DGrade" Sustainable Children's Presentation showed children how plastic waste can be transformed into something valuable. This insightful and engaging workshop guided children through the fascinating process of turning plastic bottles into fabric to create new clothes. This session is designed to inspire the next generation to think differently about waste and its potential to be repurposed into everyday items and help build a more sustainable future.
