Premier Maape saddened by the passing of Kgosi Sefanyetso of Bataung Baga Moubana

North West Premier, Kaobitsa Bushy Maape is saddened by the passing of Kgosi Boikgantso Justice Sefanyetso of Bataung ba ga Moubana at Madikwe in the Moses Kotane Local Municipality. Kgosi Sefanyatso died over the weekend following a short illness.

Premier Maape said the Provincial House of Traditional and Khoi-San Leaders has lost an astute leader in Kgosi Sefanyetso. He maintains Kgosi Sefanyetso advocated for the socio-economic rights of people in rural areas and communities under traditional leadership.

"I received the news of the passing of Kgosi Sefanyetso with great shock. He was a person who was development oriented who pioneered many discussions about the development and empowerment of rural communities and traditional leaders.

May his soul find eternal peace and may his family and friends be comforted and find strength during this difficult period" said Premier Maape.
