Yamaha Simplifies Control System Design and Operation With Revised ProVisionaire Platform

June 12, 2024 - Yamaha is pleased to announce the launch of ProVisionaire Control PLUS and ProVisionaire Kiosk, streamlining its ProVisionaire control panel design and operation software to offer enhanced functionality, while simplifying the options for systems integrators.

ProVisionaire is a suite of software applications for the design, operation, and management of sound systems built around Yamaha Pro Audio products. Equally suitable for both the entertainment and ProAV markets, complex and fully-scalable audio systems can be created using ProVisionaire software, which can be easily operated by anyone.

The new ProVisionaire Control PLUS and ProVisionaire Kiosk software consolidate several existing applications into two, making the creation and operation of control systems more straightforward, while adding extra functions.

ProVisionaire Control PLUS unifies all of the design functions for custom control panels from previous versions in a single Windows-based application, while ProVisionaire Kiosk brings together all the system operating functions of the Windows, iPad and iPhone apps in a single, cross-platform application, using the same file common to all platforms.

ProVisionaire Control PLUS adds support for Yamaha MusicCast products, including compatible AV receivers, wireless and multi-room streaming amplifiers. It also now supports the Tio1608-D2 I/O rack and the RM-WAP-16 16-channel wireless port, as well as additional parameters for the DME7 signal processor and redundant-related parameters for DZR-D series, Dante-equipped powered loudspeakers.

Files created in the previous ProVisionaire Control app can be loaded in ProVisionaire Control PLUS.

By including all features and extra functionality in just two applications, ProVisionaire Control PLUS and ProVisionaire Kiosk will support systems integrators by streamlining workflows and help to deliver more versatile system operation for end users.
