The opening ceremony of the “Sniper Frontier” contest was held

On August 19, the solemn opening ceremony of the "Sniper Frontier" international contest conducted in the Yazd city of the Islamic Republic of Iran was held.
Delegations of participating countries, military attachés, media representatives, and other guests took part in the ceremony.
The teams participating in the contest solemnly marched after the event was declared open by performing the National Anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The speakers congratulated the competition participants on the start of the "Sniper Frontier" contest held as part of the "International Army Games-2022", and wished them success.
It was emphasized that the holding of such contests plays an important role in increasing combat capability and practical skills, as well as strengthening relations between the countries.
It should be noted that Azerbaijani servicemen participating in the "Sniper Frontier" contest held in the Islamic Republic of Iran are competing with teams representing Belarus, China, Iran, Uzbekistan, Russia, and Zimbabwe.
