Multi-county resurfacing slated for early June start…

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, is scheduled to begin a resurfacing project in Andrew, Buchanan, DeKalb and Gentry counties. The project will begin on Gentry County Route CC on Monday, June 3 then move to Missouri Route 48.

During construction, Route CC will be closed. Route 48 will be narrowed to one lane with a pilot car guiding motorists through the work zone, Monday-Friday during daylight hours. Motorists should expect delays.

This weekly roadwork press release can be viewed on the MoDOT website or by signing up for email updates at MoDOT E-Updates.

The remaining routes are tentatively scheduled to be resurfaced later this year:

  • Andrew County Route E - June 26.
  • Andrew/DeKalb counties Route 169 - August 8.
  • Buchanan County Route 45 - September 18.
  • Buchanan County Route 59 - September 24.

The project is scheduled to be completed by mid-October.
