Work Resumes on Zuck Road in Millcreek Township, Erie County

04/18/2024

Work resumed this week on a $7.8 million project to improve Zuck Road (Route 4015) in Millcreek Township.

The project started in April 2023 with resurfacing the entire two-mile stretch of Zuck Road from Zimmerly Road (Route 4012) to Route 20 (West 26th Street).

Work this season will include shoulder widening at the intersection with West Grandview Boulevard to better accommodate for large vehicles, paving as needed within the work area, grass reseeding, and completing the remaining ADA-compliant curb ramps.

Construction restarted April 15, 2024 and is expected to be completed during the 2024 construction season.

Motorists may encounter lane restrictions with traffic controlled by flaggers.

Drivers should be alert for traffic pattern shifts and lane restrictions and anticipate travel delays during active work hours.

The contractor is Lindy Paving of New Galilee, PA. The contract cost is $7,981,451, which is to be paid with entirely with federal funds.
