Discover Boating Shares Connection Between Sports, Media and Boating at Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association's Women in Media and Sports Event

Last week, Discover Boating® attended the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association (BESLA)'s Women in Media & Sports Event in New York to meet with leading women executives in the sports and entertainment industry. NMMA Vice President of Marketing, Kevin Williams, spoke at the event about the important work Discover Boating is doing on behalf of the recreational boating industry to welcome people to the water to experience the joys of boating. Discover Boating is powered by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas (MRAA).

The event featured two panel discussions from some of the top leaders in the sports and entertainment industries from companies including NBCU, ESPN, and Google. Discover Boating research shows that boaters and future boaters are significant consumers of sports content.
