And since this renowned photographer and journalist is a huge fan of vintage aircraft, he decided to photograph them up close, in the sky, and has been doing so for almost three decades.

Early 20th century biplanes, Warbirds from the Second World War, racing planes, legendary multi-engine aircraft… all iconic aircraft that can be seen at the finest air shows, year after year! For this book, the author photographed twenty-five of them in the air.

He tells the story of these outstanding aircraft with fervor, through a whole host of photos and with detailed technical explanations for each one. It's certainly a high-wire act from a photographic and journalistic point of view!
