Upcoming closure on Simcoe Street in the Township of Brock

Whitby, Ontario - The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of a complete road closure on Simcoe Street in the Township of Brock.

When: April 29 to May 17. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Simcoe Street, from Madill Street to west of the driveway of the Holy Family Catholic School, in the Township of Brock.

Why: To safely replace a watermain.

Note: Further notice regarding road closures will be posted on durham.ca/BeavertonWatermain. The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and the work crews.
