Miron Construction named Community Partner of the Year with the Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity

Miron Construction Co., Inc. has been named the Community Partner of the Year with the Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity. For ten years, Miron has supported the organization's initiatives that help build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.

Each year several Miron employees donate their time to Habitat's Rock the Block program. With this initiative local neighborhoods are revitalized through residential and community-based projects such as roof repairs and landscaping. Miron was also a sponsor of the 2022 Women Build, where 25 Miron women volunteered their time building a home for a family in need. Miron has committed to sponsoring the 2023 Women Build as well.

"We were thrilled to present Miron Construction the Community Partner of the Year award during Fox Cities Habitat's Annual Celebration of Partnership," said Amy McGowan director of development at Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity. "In Miron, we have a partner that includes recognizing the needs of others and extending a helping hand wherever it's needed as part of their company's core values. Every time Miron partners with us on a project, they show up with energy, ideas, expertise, resources, and sometimes even construction equipment! We are so grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Miron employees to help hard working families in our community build a safe and decent place to live."

"It's a privilege for Miron to support an organization like Habitat for Humanity and their initiatives that change the lives of hundreds of families each year," said David G. Voss, Jr., president and CEO of Miron Construction. "Team Miron is proud to dig deep and support their community members through impactful initiatives like Rock the Block and the Women Build. At Miron, we believe in lending a helping hand those who need it the most, and Habitat for Humanity helps us accomplish that."
