King of Prussia, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that base repair with road closure is scheduled on Kutztown Road in Upper Hanover Township, Montgomery County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

  • Thursday, June 1, through Tuesday, June 20, weekdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, a moving road closure is scheduled on Kutztown Road between County Line Road and Route 663 (Layfield Road). During the closure, motorists are directed to use Route 100 (Chestnut Street), Route 29 (Gravel Pike), Water Street, Church Street, Schoolhouse Road, and Route 663 (Layfield Road).
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. Local access will be maintained. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
