Beaverbrooks, the 104-year-old jewellery retailer, was announced as the deserving recipient of the 2023 NAJ Chair's Award.

Presented at the annual Benevolent Society Christmas Charity Ball, the NAJ Chair's Award, sponsored by Presman Mastermelt, is given to a business or individual in recognition of their professionalism and dedicated service to the jewellery industry.

This year's judging panel unanimously felt that Beaverbrooks deserved recognition for its continued commitment to its staff, values, and the communities it serves. NAJ Chair Heather Callaway and General Manager of Presman Mastermelt, Gary Williams, presented Paul Holly and Susie Nicholas with the Chair's Award on the night.

Heather Callaway said,

"I am delighted that my fellow judges agreed to recognise Beaverbrook's ongoing commitment to the trade and wider community and their dedication to upholding the standard and values of the NAJ, built on honesty, integrity and professionalism. They are worthy winners of this year's NAJ Chair's Award."

Gary Williams shared,

"Beaverbrooks are a respected name on the high street, and for good reason. Their unwavering standards are a credit and inspiration to the rest of the jewellery trade."

Managing Director of Beaverbrooks, Anna Blackburn, reflects on the award,

"The whole team at Beavebrooks are thrilled to be recognised by the National Association of Jewellers for our continued work to make positive change for our people and the world around us.

"As a family-owned business, our people are the DNA of the organisation, which is reflected in every decision we make. Our commitment to our values has fuelled our growth and enabled us to continue to support our people and communities.

"We are extremely proud of the ongoing achievements that we have accomplished as a business together, and proud to be members of a trade association representing the entire jewellery trade."
