TAKEAWAY: The House will meet today at 10:30 a.m. The Senate will convene today at 10:00 a.m. and will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to legislation to reauthorize the Federal Aviation Administration (H.R. 3935). At 1:00 p.m., the chamber is expected to hold a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to concur in the House amendment to the Senate amendment to the National Security Act, 2024 (H.R. 815).

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Cal. #211, H.R.3935, An act to amend title 49, United States Code, to reauthorize and improve the Federal Aviation Administration and other civil aviation programs, and for other purposes.

Senator Schumer is expected to request that the Chair lay the message accompanying H.R.815, Supplemental Appropriations, before the Senate. Then, Senator Schumer is expected to fill the amendment tree and file cloture with respect to the message. The cloture motion will ripen upon disposition of a Lee or designee motion to table a pending amendment if such motion is made, or at 1:00pm on Tuesday.

If cloture is filed, the filing deadline for first degree amendments to the bill will be 12:00 noon on Tuesday.

Additional roll call votes are possible during Tuesday's session.

Tuesday, April 23rd at approx. 1:00pm - 2 roll call votes expected:
1. Lee or designee motion to table a pending amendment
