City Offices Close Early Due to Severe Weather Forecast

Marion City Hall and other City facilities will close early today, April 16, 2024, in response to the severe weather forecast for this afternoon and evening.

Marion City Hall, Marion Public Library, Lowe Park Arts & Environment Center and other offices will close at 2 p.m. Employees who can, will continue to work remotely.

Today's City Council Work Session and Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting will be held virtually. Access the meeting portal and instructions for attending either meeting at www.cityofmarion.org/meetingportal.

All essential services will continue to be provided. Future updates will be communicated via the City's normal channels including press releases, the City website and Facebook/Twitter pages.
