Einstein Vice President Elected to American College of Healthcare Executives’ Council of Regents

Michael George, FACHE, Vice President, Healthcare Services for Einstein Healthcare Network, has been elected a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives' (ACHE) Council of Regents to serve a three-year term through March 2023. George's district is Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey.

The ACHE is an international professional society of more than 48,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations with the aim of enhancing healthcare management excellence. The organization's Council of Regents is made up of leaders elected by their districts to represent their members, advance its vision, mission and values, guide its strategic direction and govern at the national and local level. George is one of thirty newly-elected healthcare executives to the ACHE Council of Regents.

George is a longtime Einstein leader and was named Vice President, Healthcare Services in 2019. He earned the FACHE credential which signifies that he is board certified in healthcare management as an ACHE Fellow. He is recognized for strong leadership, teambuilding, strategy development, business growth and operations management skills.

As Vice President for Healthcare Services, George has service line responsibility, including hospital operations and physician practice executive management responsibility, for the clinical departments of Medicine, Neurology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics, Oncology, as well as practice management responsibility for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Previously, as Associate Vice President, George provided executive leadership for physicians and staff in more than 90 physician practice sites along with management of the following departments: Heart and Vascular, Cancer, Women and Children's, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Medicine Specialties, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and regional Multi-specialty practices.
