Zoo Atlanta is home to many animal mothers of current or past offspring who will share the day. These include (but are by no means limited to) Adanna and Lami the Angolan colobus monkeys; Amana the lappet-faced vulture; Bam the Schmidt's guenon; Blaze, Madu, and Biji the Sumatran orangutans; Blixx the golden lion tamarin; Bonnie the sloth; Chelsea the Sumatran tiger; Eleanor the warthog; Lun Lun the giant panda; Miri the Bornean orangutan; Peggy the blue crane; Sava the crowned lemur; and Kudzoo, Lulu, Sukari, Kuchi and Machi the western lowland gorillas. An exciting mom-to-be is Shalia the western lowland gorilla, expecting an infant in May or June. The infant would be the first offspring of Willie B., Jr., the only son of his legendary late father.
