River Museum hosts Another Sensory Morning

Building off of the success of the first Sensory Morning, the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium is welcoming those on the autism spectrum, those with sensory processing disorders, and anyone who may benefit from a sensory-friendly environment to the River Museum's second Sensory Morning on June 25. Regular admission rates will apply.

From 8-10 a.m., the River Museum will host a sensory-friendly event throughout its campus. The Museum will have dimmed lighting, limited extra and ambient sounds, and no distracting exhibit motions during this public event. All the River Museum's animals and exhibits will be available for viewing by attendees.

Families of children, teenagers, and young adults who may benefit from a sensory-friendly environment are all invited to attend. For more information or to purchase tickets in advance, visit rivermuseum.com.
