A team of four HIU College of Business undergraduate students scored 12th in a global GLO-BUS online business strategy simulation. Chandler De Jong, Cassidy Koffroth, Omar Rodriquez, and Noah Stevens competed as co-managers of "Company C" in Professor Tom McGlinchey's capstone Strategy & Policy class. The competition included 1591 teams from 98 colleges/universities participating in the simulation worldwide.

GLO-BUS participants are given information and must respond with strategic decisions based on that information. The simulation provides new data each week based on previous student decisions. This cycle repeats itself each week throughout the course. Rankings of the best-performing companies worldwide on Overall Score, EPS, ROE, and Stock Price are published each Monday.

In their congratulatory accouncement to Professor McGlinchey, the GLO-BUS author team wrote, "You should be quite proud of your students for such an excellent performance - a performance that reflects quite well on you and the caliber of instruction that students are receiving in your course."
